Meet the Board
David Money
Chairman
Dave has served in the nonprofit sector since 2003, including several years on the board of directors of Pura Vida Ministries of Colorado, which works to improve the health and education of children in Guatemala. He was also a founding member of the Special Operations Care Fund of Atlanta (SOC-F) and served on its board of directors for eight years. SOC-F is dedicated to obtaining health care, addiction recovery, marriage counseling and other services needed by active and retired members of various units in the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command–especially those needs that are not being met by the Department of Defense or other organizations.
Dave is retired after practicing law for thirty-two years. He served in various positions with First Data Corporation (FDC), a global leader in electronic payment transactions, for twenty-four years–the last eight as its Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. In that position he was responsible for FDC’s flight operations in addition to legal, internal audit, compliance and corporate security.
Dave has been associated with Under Our Wing since its inception and is honored to serve on its board of directors as chairman. In addition to his work with charitable causes, Dave enjoys spending time in Colorado with his family and on their farm in north Georgia with the horses.
Diane McClymonds
Board Treasurer
Diane is a collaborative leader with over 15 years of nonprofit experience including board of directors, executive director, director of operations and volunteer.
After a career as project manager and corporate executive, Diane followed her passion of feeding people and joined the staff at Nourish (then TLC) Meals on Wheels.
As Executive Director she had active responsibility for fundraising, donor development, community engagement, staff development and financial and operations management. In her 9 years leading the nonprofit, she grew the organization, reaching twice as many seniors in need and adding new programs. During her tenure, she and the board relocated their kitchen into its own facility, requiring a total renovation which was accomplished in less than 100 days. She managed the capital campaign to fully fund the project, then navigated the organization through COVID, without a missed meal for their seniors!
Diane enjoys cooking, gardening, puzzles and being in the Colorado mountains. Now retired, Diane continues to make a difference in the community. She is proud to be a founding member of Under Our Wing and to serve on its board of directors as treasurer.
Mari Ellis
Board Secretary
Mari’s professional mandate is to be at the intersection of technology, processes, and cutting-edge delivery. However, she realizes that it is the people within any organization who are the true drivers of success and that without them, greatness is unattainable. That is why her primary focus is always on building teams, leading with candor and courage, and setting clear and consistent goals. Through her unique approach to complex business problems, Mari helps her clients achieve operational excellence and long-term success.
Mari is now retired and looking to give back with gratitude. She aims to utilize her experience and leadership skills by contributing to Under Our Wing in the capacity of Board Secretary.
